Aliens!!!

There will be another DBQ on the Alien and Sedition Act.  Please review in your textbook so you
know about the context and outside information. Can you think of a way to provide 'synthesis' in your
answer?

Choose a website to begin a review of Periods 1-3.   I will expect you to complete your review notes, lists, etc. for period 1-2 tonight.  I will check tomorrow. If you find a better website, please inform
the class!!  Thank you.

Post Constitution; a Stronger Federal Government

Look at the textbook.  Choose 3 chapters on which you will be willing to create a power point presentation.  You will teach the class with a partner.  You will not regurgitate the text but rather
explore an important issue as a research topic.  Also, look online at A People's history of the United States and choose 1 chapter for a class presentation.  (you will find it on the APUSH website.)

Watch the following:  On Chapter 10/The Federal Era
Take notes on information that goes beyond your notes from the text.  Come prepared to help
us evaluate each site for study purposes.  Write a comparison of these three sites.

Rate each on a scale of 1-3 for:
Content; Viewer Satisfactions;  narration/visual styles; value for study

CHapter 10 notes and DBQ: The New Ship of State

Chapter 10.   Read and respond to docs for DBQ tomorrow. Handout.

Read these notes for the DBQ.  It covers all major points/topics/people in Chapter 10.
coursenotes.org is an excellent place to review the AMerican Pageant chapters.  You should
be using it as well as Gilder Lehrman to get the main historical themes, etc.  Please explore this resource for 'themes', notes, reviews, etc.  We will talk about this site tomorrow.
